Hog Match
Match gems, power up your polar bear squad, and beat the silly hogs! Hog Match is a match-3 puzzle with a bear squad that fights back, and it's free to play right here in your browser.
How to play
Touch or mouse: swap gems on an 8x8 board to line up three or more. Every gem you clear charges one of your five polar bears, and a full bear jumps into action. Fish power Snowball Sam, snowflakes power Frosty Flo, ice powers Big Ben, berries power Cocoa Cub, and pinecones power Sled Sally.
Watch the red number over each hog: when it reaches zero, the hog takes a swing and plays a trick. Mud Spitters make gems muddy, Chill Hogs freeze them, Rocket Grabbers zoom off with a whole column, and Shield Hogs hide behind big shields. Pick the right gems at the right time!
What's inside
- Special gems: match 4 for a Line Gem, an L or T shape for a Snow Bomb, 5 in a row for an Aurora Star. Swap two specials together for a giant combo.
- 40 levels in 4 worlds: Snowy Woods, Frozen River, Aurora Peaks and Hog Hollow, with a boss hog at the end of each: the Mud King, the Frost Boar, Rocket Rex and Big Tusk himself.
- 3 stars a level: beat the hogs, keep half your hearts, and reach the level's goal.
- A daily puzzle with a new twist every day. Miss a day? Nothing is lost.
- Level up your squad with stars: power upgrades for every bear and new looks for your heroes. Every upgrade is earned by playing and never random.
- A friendly coach teaches the first levels, and a hint glows when you're stuck. Big buttons and big text, and every gem has its own shape as well as its own colour.
